Small Group Conversations

In mid-March, Better Together 98848 hosted a series of small group conversations to meet people where they are and hear directly from those who shape the day-to-day life of our region. Over four days, we connected with 15 different community groups to gather input, listen to local priorities, and deepen our understanding of what matters most.

Groups included:

• Fire Station 3 Volunteer Firefighters & Board
• Quincy Community Health Center
• Healthcare providers
• Families in the Migrant Program
• City workers
• Quincy Chamber board & committee members
• Rotary Club members
• Educators
• Farmers and families
• The Georgettes
• Downtown business community
• Quincy Middle School Leadership Class
• Quincy High School Leadership & Senior AVID classes

These conversations laid the groundwork for the broader visioning work and helped ensure that diverse voices are represented in the planning process.
